I have visited the UK twice. Once in 1968 when I hitchhiked from the north of the Netherlands to the UK with my friend Klaas. In Dover, because of the high number of hitchhikers, we took the train to London. We slept between rows of seats in Regents Park and in a club called Arts Lab. We also visited The Marquee where The Crazy World of Arthur Brown and East of Eden performed. In 2005 I made a one-day trip with my wife and daughter from Calais to Dover and visited the Secret Wartime Tunnels there, among other things. Now I visit the UK by watching the TV series: Escape to the Country, in which you get to know the most beautiful areas of the UK. On the album SHIRE you will find 15 musical counties.
